เล่าขานสืบต่อกันมาแต่ครั้งบรรพกาล ในยุคสมัยที่ผู้คนยังอ่านชะตาชีวิตจากการโคจรของดวงดาวและจังหวะแห่งฟ้าดิน มี "ลาน" แห่งหนึ่งตั้งอยู่ ณ กลางหมู่บ้านเชิงเขา เป็นสถานที่ซึ่งผู้เฒ่าผู้เจนจบในสรรพวิชาจะมานั่งล้อมวง อ่านฤกษ์ยาม ดูดิถี และหยั่งชะตาเพื่อชี้แนะแนวทางให้ชาวบ้าน ไม่ว่าจะก่อนออกเดินทาง ก่อนเข้าพิธีมงคลสมรส หรือก่อนลงนาหว่านไถ ลานศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งนั้นถูกเรียกขานกันติดปากว่า "ลานหยั่งชะตา" และหนึ่งในผู้สืบสานสรรพวิชาแห่งลานนี้ คือ "อาจารย์เมธีญาณ" ผู้ได้รับการกล่าวขานว่าหยั่งรู้กระแสฟ้าดินได้ลึกซึ้งยิ่งนัก

Passed down through the ages, in a time when people read the course of their lives from the movement of stars and the rhythm of heaven and earth, there existed a sacred courtyard at the heart of a mountain village. There, elders versed in celestial arts would gather in circle — reading auspicious times, interpreting lunar phases, and divining fate to guide the villagers before every journey, ceremony, and harvest. This place became known as the Laan Yang Ru: "The Courtyard of Insight."
The knowledge practiced there was no accident. It was rooted in the ancient astrology of Suvarnabhumi — blending star-coordinate reading, lunar cycle calculation, and natural sign interpretation — recorded in palm-leaf manuscripts and passed from teacher to student, generation to generation, guided by one unchanging ethic: "to illuminate the path, never to frighten."
Time passed. Villages became cities. The manuscripts faded to memory. Yet the knowledge and spirit of the Courtyard was faithfully preserved and carried forward to a new generation of practitioners — who now open these ancient gates once more, in a form that is modern and open to everyone, wherever they are in the world.
